Air Filters

How do i know if my car has an air filter? What does it do? How important is it? Well, basically an air filter does exactly what it says on the tin. It filters the air from the air intake by removing dust, pollen, mould, and bacteria from the air before it reaches the engine. This is to improve the quality of air being taken into the engine which produces better performance from your engine and helps keep it rid of dust, pollen etc. Every car comes with a factory fitted air filter, but alot of car enthusiasts will ensist that these are no good. Airfilter brands like K&N or pipercross that incrase bhp, and make your car sound much louder, are very popular amongst enthusiasts because they are a good cheap way to increase air intake and get maximum performance from your car.
